iButton DS1971 and DS1990A

The DS1971 iButton is a 256-bit EEPROM (Electrically Erasable Programmable Read Only Memory) iButton, that is used to identify and store the relevant information for driver registration. This iButton uses the 1-Wire protocol to transfer the information through the iButton reader. The lasered 64-bit registration number provides a guaranteed unique identity which allows absolute traceability.This iButton comes in the following variations: DS1971-F3+ and DS1971-F5+.
